苏州姑苏区交通拥堵原因及优化策略——以桐泾北路留园路段为例

Causes and Optimization Strategies of Traffic Congestion in Suzhou Gusu District:Taking Liuyuan Section of Tongjing North Road as an Example

在有限路网和历史文化风貌双重约束下,姑苏古城道路网远不能容纳现有机动车数量,古城交通供需严重失衡,交通拥堵问题日益严重。文章以金门路与北环快速路间的桐泾北路路段为研究对象,从路面构成、用地布局、历史遗留等方面综合分析影响交通拥堵的成因,进而总结提出构建公共交通和慢行交通接驳体系;合理组织道路横断面;优化道路交叉口;建设智能交通管理平台等四方面的优化策略,以缓解古城交通拥堵现象,提高道路通行效率。

Under the dual constraints of limited road network and historical and cultural features, the road network of Gusu ancient city is far from being able to accommodate the number of existing motor vehicles. The supply and demand of traffic in the ancient city is seriously unbalanced, and the problem of traffic congestion is becoming increasingly serious. This paper takes the section of Tongjing North Road between Jinmen road and North Ring Expressway as the research object, comprehensively analyzes the causes of traffic congestion from the aspects of pavement composition, land use layout and historical legacy, and then summarizes and puts forward four optimization strategies: constructing public transport and slow traffic connection system;reasonably organizing road cross section;optimizing road intersection;building intelligent traffic management platform. Thirdly, it can alleviate the traffic congestion in the ancient city and improve the road traffic efficiency.
