An Ontological Study on Learner Privacy in the Intelligent Age

摘要 伴随人工智能和学习分析技术的发展,学习者隐私问题凸显。学习者隐私信息的泄露,不仅影响学习体验和学习满意度,还会造成财产安全,甚至国家安全和社会安全。目前,学习者隐私泄露被联合国教科文组织列为人们面对的最大风险之一、最大挑战之一和需要解决的最紧迫任务之一,故隐私保护迫在眉睫。人本主义提倡以人为本,尊重人的隐私,以对人的肯定取代对机器的崇拜,强调自然回归。基于此,该文跳出关于隐私问题传统研究的窠臼,从人本主义视域,进行了隐私问题的相关研究。该研究首先对学习者隐私关注程度以及隐私安全威胁对学习体验的影响进行了量化研究。研究发现,在线学习者对个人隐私有一定的关注度,但总体来说,不是太高;在隐私关注的信息收集、控制和使用的三个维度中,学习者最关注在线学习平台会如何“使用”他们的个人信息。同时,还发现在线学习者的隐私关注程度会影响在线学习体验和学习评价;如果有隐私安全隐患,学习者会产生抱怨,抱怨的强烈程度存在性别差异。根据研究结果,进一步提出了提高学习者隐私关注和加强隐私保护的建议:源头上提高学习者隐私关注水平和保护意识,法规上加大信息使用惩罚力度,生态上增强整个学习系统的强鲁棒性。 With the development of artificial intelligence and learning analysis technology,the problem of learner privacy has become prominent.The disclosure of learners’privacy information will not only affect learning experience and learning satisfaction,but also cause property security,even national security and social security.At present,the privacy leakage of learners has been listed by UNESCO as one of the biggest risks and challenges that people face and one of the most urgent tasks that need to be solved.Therefore,privacy protection is extremely urgent.Humanism advocates people-oriented,respecting people’s privacy,replacing the worship of machines with affirmation of people,and emphasizing the return of nature.Based on this,this paper breaks out of the traditional study on privacy issues,from the perspective of humanism,and carries out the research related with privacy issues.Firstly,a quantitative study is conducted on the degree of learners’concern about privacy and the impact of privacy security threats on learning experience.It is found that online learners have a certain degree of concern about personal privacy,but in general,it is not too high.In the three dimensions of information collection,control and use of privacy concerns,learners are most concerned about how the online learning platform will“use”their personal information.At the same time,it is found that the degree of privacy concern of online learners affects online learning experience and learning evaluation.Learners will complain if there are privacy and security risks,and there are gender differences in the intensity of complaints.According to the results of the study,some suggestions are put forward to improve learners’privacy concern and strengthen privacy protection.From the source,the level of concern and protection awareness of learners’privacy should be improved,the punishment of information use should be strengthened in the law,and the strong robustness of the whole learning system should be enhanced ecologically.
