隐喻研究的新路径--论隐喻概率云模型的有效性

A New Approach to Metaphor Research:On the Effectiveness of Metaphorical Probability Cloud Model

隐喻理论和概念整合构成了西方隐喻研究的两条主要路径。能否在这两条路径之外探索出一条新的研究路径,一直是国内外语言学界关注的重要议题。本文从孙毅提出的“集体/个体性、映射方向性、系统性、本体与喻体的相似性、命题性/意象性意义、蓄意性、感受性及语境依赖性”八个维度,对隐喻概率云模型这一最新的隐喻模型的有效性进行了全面论证。本文认为,隐喻概率云模型是我国学者在开拓隐喻研究新路径上做出的大胆尝试,为今后的隐喻研究提供了一个新的、更加包容的方案。

Metaphor theory and Conceptual Blending constitute the two main approaches to metaphor study in the West.Whether or can not to open up a new research path in addition to these two paths has always been an important topic of concern in the academic circles at home and abroad.This paper comprehensively verifies the validity of the metaphorical probability cloud model from eight dimensions proposed by Sun Yi,collective/individual representation,the direction of metaphorical mapping,systematicity,resemblance between the topic and the vehicle,propositional/image meaning,deliberateness,qualia as well as context dependency.This paper holds that the metaphorical probability cloud model is a bold attempt made by Chinese scholars in exploring a new path of metaphor research,and provides a new and more inclusive scheme for future metaphor research.
