Overview of Theoretical Research on Acupuncture and Moxibustion Regulating Stomach and Intestine in Treatment of Manic-Depressive Psychosis

癫狂的发生与胃肠状态和功能密切相关,系统梳理了胃肠与心脑在经络上相互连属、在生理功能和病理变化中的相关性。针灸可通过调控神经系统、内分泌系统、免疫系统和肠道菌群4条信息通路,达到从胃肠治疗癫狂的目的。通过整理针灸从胃肠论治癫狂的文献及医案发现,胃经和大肠经腧穴是治疗癫狂的主要选穴,人体阴阳失调是癫狂的基本病机。阴盛阳虚则癫,需补其不足,针灸并用,治以益胃调神、通腑理气。阳盛阴虚则可见狂证,重在损其有余,行针刺泻法或刺血疗法,治以清胃泻火、通腑逐痰。参考文献35篇。

The occurrence of manic-depressive psychosis is closely related to the gastrointestinal state and function.This paper systematically sorted out the relationship between the gastrointestine and the heart and brain in meridians,and the correlation between the physiological functions and the pathological changes.Studies on the brain-gut axis have shown that there are four communication pathways between the gastrointestine and brain.Acupuncture can regulate the four information pathways of the nervous system,endocrine system,immune system and intestinal flora to achieve the goal of treating manic-depressive psychosis from the gastrointestinal tract.By sorting out the literature and medical records about acupuncture and moxibustion on the treatment of manic-depressive psychosis from the gastrointestinal tract,we found that the acupoints of the stomach meridian and large intestine meridian are the main points for the treatment of manic-depressive psychosis.Yin and yang imbalance of the human body is the basic pathogenesis of manic-depressive psychosis.Yin exuberance and yang deficiency leads to depressive psychosis.It is necessary to tonify the deficiency.Acupuncture and moxibustion are used together to replenish stomach,regulate the mind,dredge fu-organsand regulate qi.Yang exuberance and yin deficiency leads to mania.Treatment focuses on reducing the excess.Acupuncture or blood pricking therapy is performed to clear stomach and purge fire,dredge fu-organs to expel phlegm.There are 35 references in total.
