尽管当今医学和以往相比发生了很大的变化,但始终如一的医学宗旨,医学科学技术的飞速发展,市场力量的介入,医疗卫生实施中存在的问题等,无不在急迫地呼唤医师的美德。而适合美德伦理生长的土壤,展示个人主体性和自主性的特点,新的社会共同体的形成,连贯性的美德传统,广泛存在的美德标兵,以及人们对内在利益的渴求等,使得美德伦理仍然是当今医师的道德向往,医学美德的复兴仍是可能的。关爱、尊重、忠诚、严谨、担当、刚毅、公正、应变、敏捷和友善,是经医疗实践长期锤炼且被广泛认可的医师美德;新的陌生医患关系,也需要美德的支持与抚育。

Although today's medicine has changed dramatically compared with the past,its status quo like the consistent goal of medicine,the rapid development of medical technology,the intervention of market forces,problems in medical and health plan implementation,etc.,all urgently call for the virtues of physician.Physicians today still yearn for virtue ethics,the revival of medical virtue still remains possible,which are all due to the fertile soil for the growth of virtue ethics.Its characteristics are on presenting individual subjectivity and autonomy,the emergence of new social community,the consistency of virtue tradition,virtue models around,and people's desire for inner interests.Love,respect,loyalty,rigor,responsibility,fortitude,justice,flexibility,agility and good will,these medical virtues are refined and widely approved.The newly appeared stranger ethics in doctor-patient relationship also requires the support and nurturing of virtues.
