Political function is the most fundamental function of Party branches of university students.In the new era,the political functions of Party branches of university students should be improved from four perspectives of values,subjects,media and narratives and achieve four unifications:fully understanding theories,hot-spot politics and social trends;sticking to the overall planning of Party committees of universities and the coordination of two branches of students and teaching and administrative staffs;the integration of old and new media and new technologies;undertaking dialogues on an equal footing while developing narrative thinking.
