近代上海具有独特的地理优势、文化条件、经济与阶级基础以及政治环境,因而成为红色基因的孕育之地与传承起点。人民至上的价值理念,思想建党、理论强党的优良作风,理想信念与初心使命,勇于自我革命的鲜明品格等都是红色基因的重要内涵,促进了中国共产党的发展壮大。作为新时代传承红色基因的实践进路,党史学习教育应以讲好红色故事、用活红色资源,了解历史事实、理清历史脉络,把握历史规律、得出历史结论为着力点,持续推动红色基因的传承与传播。
