Public health cooperation among Lancang-Mekong countries in the context of COVID-19 epidemic:current situation and prospect

公共卫生是跨越国界的共同事业,新冠肺炎疫情背景下加强澜湄国家公共卫生合作,既有利于营造良好的次区域卫生安全环境,也有助于推动澜湄区域经济可持续发展和建设澜湄卫生健康共同体。本文从澜湄国家公共卫生合作的现状入手,在分析澜湄国家公共卫生合作面临问题的基础上,提出了在疫情背景下澜湄国家进一步加强公共卫生合作的对策。

Public health is a common cause that transcends national boundaries.Strengthening public health coopera-tion among Lancang-Mekong countries in the context of COVID-19 epidemic is conductive to creating a sound subregional health security environment,promoting sustainable economic development and building a community of shared future for health security in the Lancang-Mekong region.Based on the analysis of the public health cooperation problems faced by Lancang-Mekong countries,this paper summarized the current situation of public health cooperation in Lancang-Mekong countries,and put forward the countermeasures to further strengthen the cooperation in the context of the epidemic.
