老年患者临终前医护费用分布状况及对策建议——基于北京市某三甲综合医院调查数据的分析

The Distribution of End-of-life Medical Expenses of Older Patients and Some Policy Suggestions:An Analysis of Survey Data of a 3A-grade Hospital in Beijing

随着我国人口老龄化形势的日益严峻,老年群体的医疗费用占国内生产总值的比重逐年增长,其中,部分老年人的临终前医疗费用占其整个老年阶段的医疗花费的比重较大。一些老年患者长期住院直至最终离世,给家庭和社会带来沉重的经济负担。对老年人临终前医护费用分布状况进行专项调研,有利于评估老年人临终前医疗费用的合理性和必要性。对于推动完善老年临终照顾措施、提高临终关怀水平、优化医保控费机制、减少无效医疗支出、提高老年患者生命质量等具有重要意义。

As China’s population ages fast,the proportion of older persons’medical expenses to GDP is growing year by year.Meanwhile,end-of-life medical expenses of some older adults account for a significant share of the total medical costs all through their old age.Some older patients have to stay in hospital for a long time before they die,bringing a heavy economic burden to their families and the society.A survey on the distribution of hospice care costs of older patients can therefore help evaluate the reasonability and necessity of such a cost,which is of great significance to optimization of the cost control mechanism for health insurance,reduction of unnecessary medical spending and improvement of hospice care measures,care quality and quality of life for older patients.
