论外语学科的国别与区域研究方向及其人才培养

International and Regional Studies as a New Discipline Direction under Foreign Language and Corresponding Talent Cultivation

国别与区域研究是外国语言文学一级学科的新增方向。对于如何界定该学科方向的内涵和外延、建立起独立开放的学科体系关乎新文科背景下的外语学科建设,当前,对以满足“一带一路”倡议和国家与地方社会、经济、文化发展需求为目标的国别与区域人才的培养成为外语学科人才培养的重中之重。建立起科学系统的国别与区域研究学科体系,确定国别与区域研究方向人才培养目标与培养规格,设置与之配套的课程体系,提高教学质量,丰富教学内涵,培养出又多又好的“会语言、通国家、精领域”的国别与区域人才是国别与区域研究学科发展的必由之路。

International and Regional Studies is a new discipline direction under the first-level discipline of Foreign Language.A clarification of its connotation and extension is of crucial importance to the construction of the Foreign Language discipline against the backdrop of New Liberal Arts.At present,to support the Belt and Road initiative and to meet the social,economic and cultural needs at the national and local level,talent cultivation in the field of International and Regional Studies has become a priority for the Foreign Language discipline.To this end,we should establish a scientific disciplinary system of International and Regional Studies,specify the cultivation objectives and specifications,provide a matching curriculum system,and improve the instruction quality,so as to cultivate more talents in International and Regional Studies who are good at languages,familiar with the target countries and areas,and professional in fields and disciplines other than foreign languages.
