从国家战略需求、世纪工程作用、中西部两大江海新通道意义三个方面分析了湘粤运河的战略价值,指出了湘粤两省经济实力强、水运需求大、合作动力足,建设基础强,建设综合前景广等湘粤运河优势。提出了推进湘粤运河建设的建议。

This paper analyzes the strategic value of the Hunan-Guangdong Canal from three aspects:the strategic needs of the country,the role of the project in the century,and the two major ones in the central and western regions.The article points out the advantages of the Hunan-Guangdong Canal:the two provinces of Hunan and Guangdong have strong economic strength,large demand for water transportation,and sufficient motivation for cooperation;a strong foundation for construction;comprehensive prospects for construction,etc.Suggestions were put forward to promote the construction of the Hunan-Guangdong Canal.
