屈大均是中国古代社会后期一流诗人、词人和学者,也是“天下将亡”之时华夏道统学统的继承者和捍卫者。华夏治统虽然丧失,但他认为只要存续华夏道统学统,即可免于天下之亡,治统可失而复得,故而逃禅归儒,极力辟佛。他以孔子、朱熹为师,“学为圣贤”,接续华夏道统学统,成一代大儒,以道统存天下。

Qu Dajun was a first-class poet and scholar in the later period of ancient China.He was also the defender and inheritor of Chinese orthodoxy and learning traditions.He believed that as long as the Chinese orthodoxy was preserved,the Chinese world would not perish.He took Confucius and Zhu Xi as his mentors and made great efforts to continue the Chinese orthodoxy,and became a great Confucian.
