Primary school is the golden stage of cultivating students'comprehensive English ability.The use of scientific and active questioning methods can effectively help students clarify the direction of cognitive development and promote stu‐dents'ability to explore,analyze and solve problems.This article analyzes the characteristics of current primary school English teaching and explores the application strategies of effective questioning,which is intended to cultivate students'thinking and cognitive abilities.
