“一带一路”倡议与企业绿色转型升级

The Belt and Road Initiative and Green Transformation and Upgrading of the Enterprises

文章采用2010~2017年中国沪深A股上市企业绿色专利数据,将"一带一路"倡议作为一项准自然实验,运用双重差分方法评估了"一带一路"倡议对企业绿色转型升级的影响。结果表明:"一带一路"倡议促进了企业绿色转型升级,且动态效应呈逐年递增趋势。机制分析发现,"一带一路"倡议通过提升资源配置效率和增强技术研发两条路径促进企业绿色转型升级。异质性分组显示,在行业类型上,相比于低清洁型企业,"一带一路"倡议主要促进了高清洁型企业绿色转型升级;在企业所有制上,"一带一路"倡议对国有企业绿色转型升级的促进作用更明显;在对外直接投资寻求型上,"一带一路"倡议对市场和技术寻求型企业绿色转型升级的促进作用更强。总之,文章为推进绿色"一带一路"建设和促进企业高质量发展提供了经验借鉴。

Based on the green patent data of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies in China from 2010 to 2017, this paper uses the difference-in-difference method to evaluate the influence of the Belt and Road(B&R) Initiative on the green transformation and upgrading of the enterprises by taking B&R Initiative as a quasi-natural experiment. The results show that B&R Initiative promotes the green transformation and upgrading of the enterprises and the dynamic effect is increasing year by year. The mechanism analysis reveals that B&R Initiative promotes the green transformation and upgrading of the enterprises by improving resource allocation efficiency and enhancing technology research and development. The heterogeneous grouping shows that in terms of industry types, B&R Initiative promotes the green transformation and upgrading of the higher clean enterprises;in terms of enterprise ownership, B&R Initiative plays a more significant role in promoting the green transformation and upgrading of the state-owned enterprises;in terms of types of seeking foreign direct investment, the promotion effects of B&R Initiative on the green transformation and upgrading of the market-seeking and technology-seeking enterprises are more significant. In conclusion, this paper provides experience and reference for advancing the construction of green B&R and the high-quality development of the enterprises.
