摘要
介绍了聚乙烯燃气管现场施工时,热熔接头容易出现的冷焊缺陷无法通过无损检测方法检测出来。模拟施工现场制作了正常热熔接头和冷焊缺陷热熔接头,通过力学性能测试验证冷焊缺陷显著降低了接头的抗拉强度。通过专门的X射线机进行射线检测能直观而且有效发现热熔接头的冷焊缺陷,解决目前其他无损检测无法检测冷焊缺陷难题,对聚乙烯燃气管的应用和安全运行具有重要的现实意义。
This paper introduces the cold welding defects which are easily to appear but difficult to detect through NDT in the field construction of polyethylene gas pipe.The normal butt fusion joints and cold welding defect butt fusion joints were made by simulating the site construction,and the mechanical property test shows that the cold welding defect significantly reduced the tensile strength of the joint.The cold weld defects of butt fusion joint can be found intuitively and effectively through the special X-ray machine.lt solves the problem that other NDT can not detect cold weld defects.lt has important practical significance for the application and safe operation of polyethylene gas pipe.
