This paper introduces Professor TAN Jinchuan’s diagnosis and treatment experience in treating focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.He thinks that the treatment of this disease should combine the theory of Chinese medicine with microscopic manifestation,treat the disease according to microscopic classification,and cooperate with hormones,immunosuppressants and other western medicines to achieve the functions of complementing each other’s advantages and treating both the symptoms and root causes.In addition,attention should be paid to preventing infection,stopping drugs regularly,eating reasonably and avoiding fatigue to prevent its recurrence.A typical medical record is attached for reference.
