The Communist Party of China has thoroughly solved the problem of absolute poverty that has plagued the Chinese for thousands of years and created a miracle in the human development.According to the main characteristics of poverty reduction at each stage,this paper divides the historical process of anti-poverty in one hundred years of CPC into anti-poverty period of new democratic revolution,anti-poverty period of socialist road exploration,anti-poverty period of reform and opening up,and anti-poverty period of socialist new era with Chinese characteristics.On the whole,the anti-poverty experience in the above-mentioned periods can be summed up as follows:always uphold the leadership of the Party;always adhere to the people-centered development thought;and always adhere to the broad mobilization of social forces;always insist on mobilizing the enthusiasm,initiative and creativity of the masses of the poor;and insist on taking development as the fundamental way out of poverty.A systematic summary of the 100-year historical anti-poverty experience of the Communist Party of China will not only help deepen the understanding of the anti-poverty theory with Chinese characteristics,but also have important significance for consolidating and expanding the results of poverty alleviation,comprehensively promoting rural revitalization,and gradually realizing common prosperity.
