摘要
《孙子兵法》因其凝练、深邃的军事思想与东方智慧,一经走出国门,迅速风靡世界。通过对《孙子兵法》在美国的英译版本的统计,以及对《孙子兵法》在美国的相关研究与具体应用的探讨,梳理出《孙子兵法》在美国的翻译与传播特点及规律,归纳总结出其启发意义,以期为将来更好地翻译与传播中国优秀传统文化典籍提供参考。
The Art of Warby Sun Tzu,famous for its concise and deep military strategic value and oriental wisdom,has been popular throughout the world.Through a survey of all the English translation versions of The Art of War in the USA and a discussion on related studies and its applications in the USA,this article finds out the features and patterns of its translation and dissemination,and summarizes its enlightening significance,so as to provide reference for better translating and spreading of Chinese traditional classics.
