国际科学技术数据委员会(CODATA)发展中国家科学技术数据保藏与开放共享任务组(Task Group of Preservation of and Open Access to S&T Data in/for/with Developing Countries-PASTD)是2000年由中国、南非、美国等国科学家首先提出、2002年CODATA大会正式批准成立的、世界第一支致力于发展中国家科学数据保藏与共享的数据科学家国际领衔团队。该团队由此议题倡导者中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所刘闯研究员、美国科学家William Anderson博士担任首三届共同主席,团队由来自中国、美国、南非、泰国、巴西、英国、印度、乌克兰、俄罗斯等国科学家组成。该任务组首次在世界信息峰会(WSIS,2003日内瓦)呼吁联合国及各利益相关方致力于解决削减数字鸿沟的问题引起世界关注。

CODATA Task Group of Preservation of and Open Access to S&T Data in/for/with Developing Countries-PASTD was proposed in 2000 by scientists from South African,USA and China,and approved in the CODATA General Assembly 2002.This is the first international academic team focused on reducing digital divide in the world.Professor LIU Chuang from China and Dr.William Anderson from US led the team as Co-Chairs,and following by Prof.GU Xingfa from China,Professor Mabel Imbuga from Kenya,Dr.Dora A.Canhos from Brazil and Dr.ZHOU Xiang from China.
