The commonly used base materials for waterproofing and sealing material performance test are mortar,metal,glass and others.This paper summarizes the requirements of the selection of base materials for the performance test of waterproofing and sealing materials,mainly introduces the preparation methods of mortar base material and the cleaning methods of metal and glass base materials,and puts forward some suggestions for the purchase and acceptance of base materials in the laboratory.
