The vertical high speed centrifugal pump has the characteristics of the compact structure,the low flow,the high head and the high reliability and so on,so that the pump has been widely used in the petrochemical enterprises.According to the actual operation situation of the pump in the production process,The paper combined with the basic structure and working principle of vertical high speed centrifugal pump analyses detailedly the production and causes of possible faults,especially the lubrication system,the sealing system of flushing oil and the mechanical seal and so on,aiming at the causes about influencing operation of the pump,the resolutions and precautions are be put forward to ensure a long-term operation of vertical high speed centrifugal pump.
