摘要
本文对于乐器的研究涉及了艺术性与制作工艺、物理与心理声学、历史与图像学、分类与类型学、社会实践与政治美学等。这些视角为人们了解中亚地区琳琅满目的乐器提供了有效的途径,并且探讨了中亚乐器及其运用在当地各种文化范式中的几种情形:游牧民族与定居居民之间的共生关系;相邻文明间持久的历史影响;以及扎根并贯穿于中亚音乐文化表现形式的灵性传统。
This article is a study of musical instruments in Central Asia from many different perspectives:art and craftsmanship,physics and psychoacoustics,history and iconography,classification and typology,social practice and political aesthetics.All these perspectives offer productive ways to approach Central Asia’s exceptionally diverse world of musical instruments.The study outlines some of the ways that musical instruments articulate with broader patterns of culture in the region:the symbiotic relationship between pastoralists and sedentary dwellers,the abiding historical influences of neighbouring civilization,and the deeply rooted traditions of spirituality that flow through Central Asian expressive culture.
