基于慕课平台的英语毕业论文写作课程教学现状调查

A Survey on the Current Situation of English Graduation Thesis Writing Teaching Based on MOOCs

利用慕课等线上教学平台改进传统的英语毕业论文写作教学,对于英语教师和准毕业生而言都具有重要的意义。作者以广东理工学院为研究对象,对其运用慕课平台实施英语毕业论文写作教学的现状进行了调研。数据显示,大部分学生喜欢这种基于慕课平台的线上线下混合式教学方式,其学术能力和论文写作能力均有一定的提升。为了进一步提升教学效果,教师还应该加强实时监督、丰富教学内容、注重讲练结合,进一步激发学生学习的自主性和积极性。

It is of great significance for both teachers and prospective graduates to improve the traditional teaching method of graduation thesis writing of English majors based on the online teaching platforms such as MOOCs.Taking Guangdong Polytechnic College as an example,this paper investigates the current situation of applying MOOCs to the teaching of English graduation thesis writing.It is revealed that most students like this kind of online-offline mixed teaching method based on MOOCs,and their academic ability and thesis writing ability have been improved to a certain extent.But in order to further improve the teaching effect,teachers should also strengthen online supervision,enrich the teaching content,pay more attention to the combination of teaching and practice,and further improve students’learning autonomy and enthusiasm.
