Paradigm Effect of Yan’an Rectification Movement in the Northwest Bureau and the Casting of the Party Spirit

西北局特殊的地理位置及其所富集的历史资源确立了它在全党整风浪潮中的标本价值。通过大兴调查研究之风、西北局高级干部会议、西北党校改革以及党报改革等多方面的努力,西北局既更好地推动了整风运动的深入发展,也扬起了整风运动的一面旗帜。在这场马克思主义教育运动中所培育出来的以实事求是、理论联系实际、有的放矢、批评和自我批评、坚持党性和群众性为主要内容的整风精神,铸就了中国共产党不朽的党魂。

Because of its special geographical position and rich historical resources, the Northwest Bureau had established its paradigm value in Yan’an Rectification Movement of the Communist Party of China(CPC). Through the great efforts in all respects such as the strong advocacy of investigation and research, the meetings of the senior officials of the Northwest Bureau, the reform of the Northwest Party School and the reform of the Party newspapers, the Northwest Bureau not only stimulated the further development of Yan’an Rectification Movement but also raised a banner in Yan’an Rectification Movement. The spirit of Yan’an Rectification Movement, which mainly includes seeking truth from facts, integrating theory with practice, focusing on the definite aim, criticizing and self-criticizing, and maintaining the Party spirit and the masses-based spirit, has cast the immortal soul of the Communist Party of China.
