重写过去与自我塑造:论《远山淡影》的历史书写

Differences in Reproduction and Self-shaping: on the Historical Writing of A Pale View of Hills

石黑一雄处女作《远山淡影》中个人与历史的命运紧密相连,它通过悦子故事的讲述重访历史,宏观和微观的故事相互交融构成了个体与群体命运的共同体。在"大"的历史背景下,悦子具有清醒的自我意识,以重写过去的方式,改写个人历史,将自我塑造成了三位一体的新形象。《远山淡影》的历史书写一方面体现为反思历史的同时叙述个人,呈现出过去对现在的深远意义;另一方面也表现了回忆与现实的矛盾与重叠,一种悦子渴望重新建构历史,确立自我位置的努力。

Kazuo Shiguo’s debut novel, A Pale View of Hills, is about the fate of individuals and history. This paper uses the theory of new historicism to interpret A Pale View of Hills, to explain that the historical narrative of personal history presents the history based on real historical events, to analyze how Etusko reproduces the past differentially and finally realizes self-shaping in the historical writing. From these perspectives, it reveals the difficult process of individuals’ self-pursuit in the turbulent society and reveals the profound historical significance behind the text.
