摘要
目前针对苏作家具的研究成果多集中于明清时期的苏作家具,文章则把时间段限定在“近代”,通过实物、文献和口述史的互证分析表明,随着苏州近代西式家具业的缓慢发展,苏作家具的设计意匠从“工巧古雅”向着追求“海派格调”转变,在苏作家具中融入了摩登的新元素、出现了苏作海派家具,故而呈现出“苏州工、上海样”的艺术特征,这是近代社会转型、城市地位变动和审美风尚变化的必然结果,彰显出中国家具从传统向现代转型的轨迹。
At present,the research of Suzhou-crafted furniture mainly focuses on those were made in Ming and Qing Dynasties.In this paper,we limited the research period to“modern times”.The cross-analysis of entities,literature and oral history told that:In modern times,with the slow development of Suzhou’s modern western-style furniture industry,their style design has changed from artful and quaint to be more like Shanghai-style.Modern new elements have been integrated into Suzhou-crafted furniture,which led to the emergence of Suzhou-crafted Shanghai-style furniture.It boasts the characteristics of“Suzhou-crafted Shanghai-style”.This is the inevitable result of social transformation,city status shift,and aesthetic fashion change,which presents the trajectory of Chinese furniture’s transformation from tradition to modernity.
