Aids to navigation(AtoN)play the role of marking navigation channels,guiding directions,asserting national sovereignty,facilitating the safe navigation of ships,etc.The paper introduces and studies the application of two kinds of light materials,i.e.aluminium alloy and linear low-density polyethylene,in open-sea light beacon construction.
