摘要
文章通过实证研究不同类型强化任务对大学英语词汇习得的不同作用。研究发现:三种任务对词汇习得都有着显著的促进作用,但效果各不相同。其中,写作任务效果最佳,匹配任务次之,填充任务最次。匹配和填充任务对接受型词汇知识的作用较好,写作任务对产出型词汇知识作用明显。尽管学习者对匹配任务和填充任务喜爱度较高,却认为写作任务的帮助最大。建议将“匹配任务”融入常态化日常教学;“写作任务”可分阶段集中展开,进行强化型训练;“填充任务”可作为教学补充型任务,根据实际情况选用。
An empirical study was conducted to explore the effects of different types of enhancement tasks on college English vocabulary acquisition by longitudinal method.The results show that the three tasks have significant effects on vocabulary acquisition,but to different extent.The sentence-making task has the best effects,the matching task comes next,and the gap filling task comes last.Matching and gap filling tasks have better effects on receptive vocabulary knowledge,while sentence-making task has an obvious effect on productive vocabulary knowledge.Learners prefer matching task and gap filling task,however they believed sentence-making task is most helpful.According to the research results,it is suggested that diversified methods should be adopted in vocabulary teaching to maximize the effects.
