On Cheng Yi's Ecological Wisdom of"Harmony between Man and Nature"and Its Contemporary Value

In Cheng Yi's Neo-Confucianism there is abundant ecological wisdom,in which the ecological wisdom of"harmony between man and nature"includes such famous propositions as monism of"natural principle","the inside and outside integration of Dao","to know one's true nature with all one's heart and then to understand the mandate of heaven",and"upholding heavenly principle while curbing humanly desire".Cheng Yi's ecological wisdom of"harmony between man and nature"is consistent with the ecological view of modern society.It not only has important enlightening significance for the reconstruction of the new relationship between man and nature,but also has become the ideological resource and code of conduct for the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.
