疫情防控下全国大学生专业技能竞赛的改革创新——以地理信息科学专业为例

Reform and Innovation of National Professional Competition for College Students Under the Prevention and Control of COVID-19:——a Case of GIS Application Skills Competition

新冠肺炎疫情的突然爆发和常态化防控现状,给当前全国大学生专业技能竞赛的正常举行带来了严峻挑战,对我国高等院校的人才培养造成了难以估计的影响。本文以2020年11月在武汉举行的第九届全国大学生GIS应用技能大赛为例,通过剖析传统全国大学生专业竞赛组织模式弊端,以满足疫情防控要求为基本出发点,本着全面提升传统竞赛质量为最高目标,从组织形式、竞赛模式、监督方式和颁奖仪式等方面进行了积极探索与改革创新,并应用于整个赛事的组织和推进工作。从大赛秩序的强力保障、参赛规模的稳中有增、以及赛后社会的巨大反响等多个角度来看,大赛在传承中实现了创新,并为其他全国大学生专业技能竞赛提供了经验和模式借鉴。

The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 and the normalized prevention and control situation have brought severe challenges to the normal development of the national professional skills competition for college students,which caused an incalculable impact on the talent cultivation of colleges and universities in China.This article takes the 9th National College Student GIS Application Skills Competition held in Wuhan in November 2020 as an example.Based on the analysis of the shortcomings of the traditional national college student professional competition organization model,as well as meeting the prevention and control requirements of COVID-19 and comprehensively improving the quality of traditional competitions,the active exploration,and reform and innovation have been carried out in terms of organizational form,competition mode,supervision method and award ceremony,which have been applied to the organization and promotion of the entire competition.From the perspectives of the strong guarantee of the competition order,the steady increase on the scale of participation,and the huge response from the society after the competition,the successful holding of the competition on schedule not only realized the inheritance of the long history of geographic information science professional competition,but also provided a reference for other national college students'professional skills competitions.
