Impact of IT-Business Alignment on Business Model Innovation:Based on Data Empowerment Perspective

基于172份企业调研数据,从数据赋能视角探讨信息技术(IT)与业务融合对企业商业模式创新的作用机制,并在此基础上基于资源整合、数据挖掘与分析、组织决策的逻辑框架以及企业的环境适配性问题,考察企业大数据能力的中介作用以及环境动态性的调节效应。研究发现:IT与业务融合对商业模式创新有正向影响;大数据能力在IT与业务融合和商业模式创新的关系间具有显著中介作用;IT与业务融合通过大数据能力对商业模式创新的间接影响受到环境动态性的负向调节作用。研究结论对于企业开展商业模式创新实践的主要启示包括:企业应注重信息技术与当前自身基础架构、业务流程与战略方向之间的匹配问题,重视并发挥大数据能力积极的影响,积极开展对外部环境的监测工作等。

Based on the enterprise survey data of 172 samples,this paper conducts an analysis of the influence mechanism of information technology(IT)-business alignment on business model innovation from the perspective of data empowerment.Further,the paper explores the mediating effect of big data capability in view of the logical framework of resource integration,data mining and analysis,organizational decision-making,and the moderating effect of environmental dynamism on the basis of environmental adaptability of enterprises.The results show that IT-business alignment can positively and significantly influence business model innovation,and the big data capability is a mediator in the relationship between IT-business alignment and business model innovation.The empirical results also show that environmental dynamism has a mediating and moderating effect on the relationship between IT-business alignment and business model innovation,at a high level of environmental dynamism,IT-business alignment has a weak impact on business model innovation,and IT-business alignment affects the indirect impact on business model innovation through big data capability by the negative adjustment of environmental dynamics.The enlightenment of the research conclusion to the practice of business model innovation includes:enterprises should pay much more attention to infrastructure alignment,process alignment and strategic alignment of IT and business,exert positive influence from the big data capability,and improve monitoring of the external environment.
