辽宁朝阳市商家沟辽代2号墓发掘简报

A Brief Excavation Report of M2 of the Shangjiagou Tombs of the Liao Dynasty in Chaoyang City,Liaoning Province

1979年7月13日,辽宁省朝阳县台子乡馒头营子公社商家沟大队在村委会南侧平整土地时,发现一座辽代墓葬。经朝阳县文化局文物科清理发掘,葬墓所用建筑材料和形制与1977年发掘的商家沟辽代1号墓葬形制一致,且葬具相似,又有相同形制的随葬品,两墓距离仅5米,故编号商家沟辽代2号墓(M2)。墓葬形制为砖筑单墓室,葬具有棺帐、石棺和草木结构假人,葬式为头西脚东,出土遗物有木器、瓷器、铜器和干果。商家沟辽代2号墓为研究朝阳地区辽代中期的历史文化和葬俗提供了宝贵资料。

A Tomb of the Liao Dynasty was founded by Shangjiagou Production Brigade at Mantouyingxi Commune,Taizi Township,Chaoyang County,Liaoning Province on July 13 th,1979 when leveling the field at the south of the Village Committee Office.The tomb was excavated by the Cultural Heritage Division of Chaoyang County Culture Bureau.The tomb materials and the structure were as same as those of Ml of the Shangjiagou Tombs excavated in 1977,with similar coffins,and funeral objects.The two tombs are only 5 meters apart,thus the one excavated in 1979 is listed as M2 of the Shangjiadou Tombs of the Liao Dynasty.The Structure of M2 was a brick single-chambered tomb,with coffin cover,stone coffin,and grass-made artificial figures.The body was buried with the head pointing to the west while the feet the east.Articles of wood,porcelain and bronze,and nut remains were excavated as well.M2 provided valuable materials to research the history,culture and the burial customs in the Mid-Liao Dynasty in Chaoyang Region.
