Taking the design of medical bed casters injection mold as an example,the characteristics of European dual-color mold and Japanese dual-color mold were introduced.Analyzed the design method of hot runner dual-color mold,a manifold with a novel structure was designed.It introduced the structure form,application occasions and design points of the dual-colour mold for centre panel ejection.It showed how to integrate hot runner technology and dual-color mold technology into one set of mold.It can provide reference for the designers to determine the design scheme of hot runner dual-color mold reasonably.
