在脱欢和也先父子时期,和硕特加入卫拉特。后来,和硕特经过近一个世纪的发展,至16世纪中叶开始强盛起来,和硕特贵族博贝密尔咱、哈尼诺颜洪果尔、拜巴噶斯、图鲁拜琥相继成为卫拉特联盟盟主。他们发愤图强,前仆后继,带领卫拉特人推翻东蒙古统治,抵御俄罗斯和哈萨克势力,为卫拉特蒙古的发展壮大,做出了极其重要的贡献。

In the period of Tokhon,Khoshot joined the Oirats.Later,after nearly a century of development,Kho⁃shot began to flourish in the middle of the 16th century,and the Khoshot nobles Bobai,Khani Noyan Khong⁃gor,Baibagas and Torobayiku successively became the leaders of the Oirats’alliance.They made great ef⁃forts for the development the Oirats by leading them to overthrow the rule of Eastern Mongols and resist the influence of Russia and Kazak.
