达米特与哈贝马斯分别是英美分析哲学与欧洲大陆哲学的代表人物,其思想各自表现出了英美分析哲学与欧洲大陆哲学思想的本质特征。他们在哲学思想上存在的分歧主要表现为研究形而上学的具体内容及意义理论的策略和目的方面的不同。虽然存在分歧,但两者在哲学思想上更多展现出了坚持语言学转向和反对语义抽象化、坚守语言哲学策略解决形而上及坚持语言意义可理解性、可交流性三个方面的相通之处。正是两者存在的共性与相通之处在某种程度上折射出了英美分析哲学与欧洲大陆哲学融合与对话的可能。语言的语用学和社会生活实践可作为英美分析哲学和欧洲大陆哲学融合与对话的两个重要内容。

Dummett and Habermas are the representatives of Anglo-American analytical philosophy and continental European philosophy respectively. Their thoughts show the essential characteristics of Anglo-American analytical philosophy and continental European philosophy. Their differences in philosophy are mainly manifested in the specific content of metaphysics and the strategy and purpose of meaning theory. Although there are differences,they have more similarities in three aspects: adhering to the linguistic turn and opposing semantic abstraction,adhering to the strategy of linguistic philosophy to solve metaphysics,and adhering to the comprehensibility and communicability of language meaning. It is the commonness and similarity between the two that reflects the possibility of integration and dialogue between Anglo-American analytical philosophy and European continental philosophy to some extent. The pragmatics of language and the practice of social life can be regarded as two important contents of the integration and dialogue between the two philosophies.
