Thematic relation and taxonomic relation are two important conceptual systems that children use to organize the world around them. The conceptual organization of children with autism spectrum disorder depends on perceptual processes to express the difference of ability. In this study,26 autistic children were selected as participants, and two experiments were carried out using sample matching tasks. It was found that children with high-functioning autism have better conceptual relationship processing ability, and their conceptual organization is mainly affected by the strength of the relationship.Children with low-functioning autism have insufficient ability to process taxonomic relationship, and their conceptual organization is affected by the comprehensive influence of relationship type and strength, showing a bias of thematic relation.
