机器翻译译后编辑已经成为译者工作环境中的一个不可或缺的重要组成要件。但目前人们对机器翻译和译后编辑的认识上还存在一些模糊之处。对待机器翻译,必须从多个角度综合衡量它的相对优势和固有缺点。机器翻译译后编辑根据文本类型、客户对质量的要求等因素可以分为不同类型,针对不同的使用环境。今后,必须加大机器翻译译后编辑的教学研究,从知识、实践和技能三个方面探索译者在机器翻译译后编辑核心能力的培养。

Machine translation post-editing has become an indispensable part of the translator’s working environment.Howev-er,there are still some ambiguities in the understanding of machine translation and post-editing.The relative advantages and inherent disadvantages of machine translation should be evaluated comprehensively from multiple angles.For different use,machine translation post-editing can be divided into different types according to text types,requirements from customers for quality and other factors.In the future,it is necessary to intensify the teaching and research of machine translation post-edi-ting,and explore the cultivation of translators’core competence in machine translation post-editing from aspects of knowledge,practice and skills.
