Microstructure of the hyoid bone based on micro-computed tomography findings

In this study,we used micro-CT to scan hyoid specimens and observe the microscopic anatomy of the hyoid bone,study the variation of the trabecular bone inside the hyoid bone,and analyze the internal structure of the hyoid bone and possible influencing factors of related diseases.Micro-CT was used to assess 22 hyoid bones and observe changes in the internal bone trabeculae with 3D reconstructions and analyze the fine anatomical structure of the tongue bone.Micro CT images showed the microstructure of various parts of the hyoid bone.
