摘要
The non-genomic actions of androgen on cognitive function have been extensively studied. However, the underlying mechanisms remain controversial. In this study,we used testicular feminized(Tfm)mouse as a cell research model, which had androgen receptor deficiency and low circulating testosterone level,to investigate whether testosterone improves spatial cognitive dysfunction via its androgen non-genomic actions. We found that testosterone supplementation can improve the spatial cognitive function, hippocampal neuron danage and dendritic spine density in Tfm mice, but no statistical difference was found in fear memory function.
