Expression of REST and P27 in spinal cord of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis mice

摘要 Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by the progressive and fatal loss of motor neurons.RE1 silencing transcription factor(REST)is a transcriptional repressor of neuronal genes.Studies have shown that REST interacts with P21.P27 and P21 belong to homologous protein,but the role of REST and P27 in ALS has not been reported.In this study,we want to investigate the changes in the expression of REST and P27 in thespinal cord of ALS mice.
