Effects of Buyang Huanwu decoction and its disassembled prescriptions on neurological function and angiogenesis in rats with ischemia stroke

This study was performed to investigate the effect and mechanism of Buyang Huanwu Decoction(BYHWD)and its disassembled prescriptions on nerve function and angiogenesis in ischemic stroke rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Rats were randomly divided into six groups:Sham group,Model group,BYHWD group,Qi-tonifying group,Blood-activating group and Butyphthalide group.Rats were used to make permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)after 10 days of simulated intervention with compound factors of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,followed by the medicine group was administered intragastrically for a week.
