The function of chemical laboratory is to inspect and supervise the quality of raw materials,intermediate products and final products in chemical plants.In order to ensure the occupational health and safety of laboratory operators and the accuracy of experimental data,a good ventilation system must be set up in the laboratory.This paper introduces the common forms of ventilation system in chemical laboratory,the composition and control of VAV ventilation system,and explains the air volume calculation and design method of VAV ventilation system based on engineering examples.
