Drawing upon its 100 years of experience,the Communist Party of China(CPC)has not only maintained its founding commitment to Marxism,which it shared with the early world communist movement,but has also made a number of innovations drawn from its own history.Both the concepts of the’socialist market economy’and the’primary stage of socialism’,derive from the CPC’s summary of its experience since the start of the reform period of 1978.The path,the theory,the system,and the culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics have kept developing,blazing a new trail for other developing countries to achieve modernization.It offers a new option for other countries and nations who want to speed up their development while preserving their independence;and it offers Chinese wisdom and a Chinese approach to solving the problems facing mankind.
