从《兄弟》译本看翻译中叙事视角的传译

On the Interpretation in the English Version of Brothers from Narrative Perspective

文章主要从人物的视觉和心理两个角度,探讨余华长篇小说《兄弟》译本中叙事视角的传译问题,及其对实现小说叙事主题和审美效果的作用。研究发现:译者在翻译人物视觉视角的时候有部分省略的情况,而在翻译人物心理视角的时候能够通过词汇的准确翻译,更加贴近和再现人物的心理。因而,小说中叙事视角的传译直接影响到小说叙事主题和审美效果的再现,应在翻译中予以重视,并尽可能地去实现和传达。

This article mainly discusses the translation of the narrative perspective in the English version of Yu Hua’s novel Brothers from the characters’visual and psychological perspectives and studies its effect on the realization of the narrative theme and aesthetic effect of the novel.The study finds that some original descriptions are partially omitted when translating the characters’visual perspective and when translating the psychological perspective of the characters,the accurate translation of words are used to get closer to and reproduce the psychology of the characters.Therefore,it is concluded that the translation of the narrative perspective in the novel can directly affect the reproduction of the narrative theme and aesthetic effect of the novel,which should be emphasized in translation,and be realized and conveyed as much as possible.
