Based on Moldflow software to determine the optimal gating layout and structure,this article analyzes the characteristics of car A-pillar decoration trim parts,focus on mold design and injection molding key points of over-molding with metal inserts.Combining with our practical experience,we solve the positioning of metal insert during the over-molding injection to ensure the metal inserts good positioning and smoothly depart from mold.This way achieved successful metal insert over-molding tooling structure and guaranteed product quality and enhanced injection production stability.
