Ideological Sternness of CPC Members:The Implication of Political Quality of Liu Shaoqi's Theory of Party Spirit Self-cultivation

刘少奇在《论共产党员的修养》中对党内思想建设问题做了重要论述,并针对当时党内出现的各种思想、组织、政治等问题提出要加强党性修养,坚定共产主义理想信念。本研究主要从《论共产党员的修养》文本出发,分析探讨刘少奇党性修养理论的政治品质意蕴。刘少奇认为,共产党人只有通过实践中的锻炼和修养,并在学习马克思主义理论的过程中不断改造自身,才能成为“品质优良、政治坚强”的合格党员。在新时代的今天,也只有在实践中锤炼政治品质、在对共产主义理想信念的坚持中站牢政治立场,才能勇担时代赋予我们的责任,为实现中华民族伟大复兴不懈奋斗。

In Liu Shaoqi’sOn Self-cultivation of Communist Party Memberssignificant statements are made on ideological construction among the CPC members,including the proposalsofenhancingthe self-cultivation of party spirit and strengthening communist faith in response to various ideological,organizational,and political issues in the party at that time.This paper makes a study of the implication of political quality of histheory onself-cultivationof the Party spirit of the CPC members on the basis of a thorough analysis of his article.According to Liu’s opinion,only through training and cultivation in practice,and continuous self-improvement and through the study ofthe Marxist theories,can the Communists become qualified CPC members with“high quality and ideological firmness”.For the CPC members of the new era,only by constantly improving their quality in practice and firmly holding their ideological stand to adhere to the communist ideals and faiths can they take the responsibilities entrusted by the era and strive unremittingly for a great revitalization of the Chinese nation.
