Magnesium is one of the most abundant metal elements in the Earth.Given that each cubic meter sea water contains over 1 kg elemental Mg and ten thousand billions of tons in total,we can say that Mg is virtually inexhaustible.Magnesium,with its very rich reserves within the Earth,is becoming an important engi-neering material.
