Steel plate composite beam is a new type of bridge structure,which is usually composed of concrete deck and steel beam.Taking Houhegou Bridge project of Heyang-Tongchuan expressway as an example,the paper introduces the systematic,mechanized,fine and standardized construction technology and method of the integral assembly,lifting,beam delivery and installation of steel composite beams.The practice shows that the construction of steel plate composite beam greatly accelerates the construction speed of the beam bridge and reduces the comprehensive cost.
