摘要 2019年10月,采用3GPPR14版本FeMBMS(Further evolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service)标准的5G广播先导网在北京试播。FeMBMS是移动通信行业针对广电行业高塔高功率(HPHT,High Power High Tower)场景量身定制的标准。本文基于评价地面数字电视(DTTB,Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting)系统的关键技术指标(KPI),对FeMBMS和DTMB(Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting)系统进行比较研究。首先介绍了移动多媒体广播(CMMB,Chinese Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting)、DTMB和Fe MBMS等标准制定的背景过程,接着简述了Fe MBMS和DTMB各自的帧结构和工作模式,然后逐个分析和比较了两个系统的带宽、净码率、谱效率和BICM(Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation)谱效率等KPI,比较结果表明,DTMB在部分KPI上性能优于Fe MBMS。该项比较研究是5G广播的先期研究工作,为先导网的外场测试工作打下了理论基础。 In October 2019, 5 G broadcast pilot network made its debut in Beijing adopting 3 GPP Release(Rel-) 14 Fe MBMS(Further evolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) specification. Fe MBMS is a standard from mobile telecommunication industry designed for HPHT(High Power High Tower) scene of broadcast industry. In this paper, comparative study is made between Fe MBMS and DTMB(Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting) based on the evaluation of some KPIs(Key Performance Indicators) for DTTB(Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting) system. Firstly, the paper introduces the background of CMMB(Chinese Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting), DTMB and Fe MBMS. Next, it briefly describes frame structures and operation modes of Fe MBMS and DTMB. Then, it analyzes and compares KPIs including bandwidth, data rate, spectral efficiency and BICM(Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation) spectral efficiency, etc. Comparison results show that DTMB outperforms Fe MBMS in terms of parts of KPIs. This comparative study is a preliminary research for 5 G broadcasting, and has laid a theoretical foundation for field test of pilot network.
