摘要
菲尔默的主权论蒙惠于博丹,但博丹却为臣民区划出了清晰的私人领域。尽管菲尔默与詹姆斯一世同为君权神授论者,但詹姆斯一世却强调国王再隐秘的行动在公共政治领域也是可见的。菲尔默的原创性在于他将主权与财产权、政治支配权与经济支配权等同了起来。就圣史角度而言,主权与财产权之所以能等同,是因为这两种权利都起源于神对亚当的赐予;就自然角度而论,主权与财产权之所以能等同,是父亲因生育子女而享有对他们的政治支配权与经济支配权。
Although Filmer owes much to the doctrine of sovereignty founded by Bodin,he is different from Bodin in that Bodin respects the private realm of subjects.Although James I advocates the theory of the divine right of kings,he regards the secret actions of kings as something which has come to public knowledge.Filmer’s originality is his identification of sovereignty and property,his identification of political domination and economic domination.He employs biblical approach and patriarhalist approach to identify sovereignty and property.From the perspective of the sacred history,sovereignty and property can be identified for these powers have the same origin:the grant of God to Adam.From the patriarchalist perspective,sovereignty and property can be identified because by generation parents acquire rights over their children,unifying political domination and economic domination.
